Susan Powell is Music Director at St. Mary Catholic Church and Precentor at Bethlehem Lutheran Church (ELCA). She studied organ, voice, composition, and conducting at St. Olaf College and Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. She is passionate about her vocation as a leader of congregational song. In 2024, Susan become a novice oblate of St. Meinrad Archabbey. She lives downtown with her husband (also a church musician) and their four young children.
