Our Promise to Protect

Safe Parish - As a Church, we value the safety of children in our care, our employees and volunteers, and the people whom we serve. We want to take prudent measures to attempt to safeguard people from potential harm. Therefore, the Archdiocese of Indianapolis has implemented a policy on background checks for our priests, seminarians, religious and lay employees, and volunteers who have contact with children. Employees and volunteers should not be in contact with children until their background check is fully complete and reviewed by the location and any flagged issues have been resolved. If you have contact with children or need more information about the Safe Parish training and background checks, contact the parish office.
